Liverpool airport baggage handlers scored a victory at the end of last week. Servisair wanted to make compulsory redundancies. Staff at the city's John Lennon airport started a strike on August 20. Key fire and safety workers were deciding whether to join them when Bosses caved in.
Flights by Ryanair, KLM, Wizzair, Flybe and Thomson had been affected. Bosses had attempted to undermine the strike by bringing in managers from other airports.
